Amazing dream home, Zhukovka XXI, designed by Unk-Project.
Proper location of the building across the site, in fact, acts as a screen, dividing the space equally into public and private areas. Hidden areas, such as the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms, look out over the courtyard with panoramic windows, while the rest overlooks the road. Perpendicular to the main house is a garage.
Minimalist Cottage No corridors for the eyes. Two wooden staircases are placed in the central hall, providing access to the second floor, one for the owners and one for guests. Corner ceiling panels illuminate them and the rooms, which, among other things, receive abundant natural light. The transparent glass part of the wall is visible below the ceiling – its feature is barely visible in normal mode, but as soon as one enters the upper room, motion sensors activate a change in tone to frosted. Other interesting design features include a tree growing in the house. The planting was actually done after construction, just the roof of the terrace with the round shaped opening is a bit longer.
This home design seems quite intriguing! I’m curious to know how practical and livable minimalist style homes are? Are there any specific challenges or advantages that come with adhering to modern geometric standards? Would love to hear from anyone who has experience living in or designing such homes!
Minimalist style homes can be very practical and livable if done right. The key is to focus on maximizing space and functionality while keeping clutter to a minimum. One challenge with minimalist design is finding creative storage solutions to keep things organized. However, the clean lines and simplicity of minimalist homes can create a sense of calm and openness, making them very appealing to many people. Adhering to modern geometric standards can also have its advantages, as it allows for efficient use of space and can create a visually appealing design. Overall, living in a minimalist style home can be a rewarding experience for those who value simplicity and functionality in their living space.
