Dogtrot – is the classic American way to design a home. Literally, it's a word that means a covered walkway between different parts of the house. Ski Shores Lakehouse The design is just that: a covered dining room divides it into two parts, with the bedrooms in one, and the kitchen and living room in the other. The dining room is connected with the outdoor terrace, where you can relax, socialize with your loved ones or have some privacy.
The kitchen is combined with a recessed floor living room. It's the perfect escape from the sweltering heat of Texas. White in the interior The kitchen is minimalist – there's not a single superfluous detail in the room.
The other side of the building is devoted to the bedrooms. Their huge, panoramic windows let you take in the sweeping views Texas.
The cottage is finished entirely from local materials: the walls are made of Texas limestone, which blends harmoniously with southern pine. The big advantage of the materials used is that they are durable and do not require special maintenance.
