The new look of an old mansion, a Toronto condo project

This Toronto condo project features a unique blend of the old and new to create a captivating residence. The building is a vintage Edwardian mansion that has been carefully restored to retain original characteristics while also benefitting from a modern renovation. Residents will enjoy the luxury of staying in a heritage-designated building with its carved wooden trim, wood burning fireplaces, and a beautiful wraparound porch. They will also benefit from modern amenities including updated windows and bathrooms, a fitness centre, lounge, and outdoor terrace. Residents of this upscale residence will experience a fusion of charm and sophistication.

In the Canadian city of Toronto not so long ago the original design of the two-storey mansion called Toronto 2 was completed through the joint efforts of the owners and the architects of JCI, which we now offer the visitors to become acquainted with A beautiful country house.

The clients had a clear idea of the kind of housing they wanted. They are so tired of too strict and somewhat sterile office style that they decided to enliven their cottage with bright and funny details, which are rarely seen in city apartments. So in the middle of the spacious dining room against the background of a rough rustic table made of long planks and similarly sized benches instead of chairs appeared.

The off-white kitchen has fun yellow stools and a chalkboard to write on.

The entire first floor of the residence is devoted to the common areas, i.e. the kitchen, living room and dining room. On the top floor is a completely ordinary, decorated in pleasant light colors bedroom with a comfortable bed, closet and bathroom.

The façade facing the street is brickwork, with a large panoramic window on the first floor showing part of the living room. And the backyard has a fenced-in recreation area that allows both floors of the mansion to be equipped with floor-to-ceiling glazing. Thus, even in the midst of the big city, its inhabitants have the opportunity at any time to take a breath of fresh air, without fear of curiosity of the neighbors.
