The tidy Zwischen-Raum family residence by Fabi Architekten, Regensburg, Germany

This time, guests of Forum City will have the opportunity to visit a typical German cottage with its new additions. Appreciate this architectural method!

Zwischen-Raum was built in the early 20th century in Regensburg, Germany. It was recently renovated by German design firm Fabi Architekten. The original old house has not been converted because of its status – it is assessed as historical heritage. Another structure was added to it. Thus, the dwelling now consists of two buildings connected by a glazed passage. The extension gives additional living space, which now equals 198 square meters.

The large panoramic windows of the Zwischen-Raum offer a magnificent view of the garden beside the house. The design is neat and bright. The glass corridor lets in sunlight from both sides and above. The white interior of the annex creates a feeling of calm and relaxation. Situated on the edge of a hectic city, the residence makes you forget about your busy day and stresses.
