An intriguing mystery: The Studio House concept by Architekten BDA Fabi in Wenzenbach, Germany
The Studio House concept by Architekten BDA Fabi in Wenzenbach, Germany is a captivating architectural mystery. It features a large living room split over two floors, with a terrace on the second floor that enables an open connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The vast and multifunctional studio space on the first floor comprises a living area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate kitchen. This unique concept offers the residents limitless creative possibilities and independence without compromising on style or comfort. Distinctive features include large windows and skylights that bring in natural light and air, as well as a breath-taking view of the surrounding country-side. The Studio House allows the owners to live in perfect harmony with nature.
The residence is located on the approaches to the famous 12th century Schoenberg Castle. The planners’ goal was to create something dignified on the site of the former Guard House. They succeeded quite well.
The Studio House consists of two volumes: the first, a uniform monochrome black with a gabled roof, appears to lie cantilevered on top of the flat roof of the white lower unit.
The upper block is designed for the social area. Spacious spaces are comfortable for work and reflection. Here you can have meals, family gatherings, relax and unwind. Below are the bedrooms and a beautiful terrace with a panoramic view of the forest.
