Owner Andrea Falkner-Campi wanted a unique home that would combine the historic past of his small Italian hometown with modern luxury. This was achieved by Conversion of a 200 year old factory In Spello, east of Central Umbria, Italy, into a trendy home with a unique style of its own. The interior is dominated by white, with a wide range of patterns and textures.
Designer Paola Navone opted for a sophisticated industrial style and exclusive décor to give the building its finishing touch. Looking at this project, you find a perfect balance between the past and the present. One can be speechless with admiration!

Not only old barns and factories can be creatively transformed into residences. Even disused libraries are suitable for such projects.
This elegant house, located in Sellwood, Portland, was once a library. But it has been reconstructed and modernized for the needs of modern city dwellers. High ceilings, large shelves throughout the entire height of the walls, and a warm color scheme with a basic pearl hue became the designer’s Jessica Helgerson Interiors Design source of inspiration. The result is very elegant! As a tribute to the library’s past, stairs appeared in each room, which made the interior even more interesting.

Structures from the 1800s seem to be especially popular, like this old water tower in central London. It was built in 1877 and has now been transformed into a a wonderful modern home, which offers stunning views of the British capital.
Leigh Osbourne and Graham Voce attached an expressive “glass box” to the original building. The living room on the first floor and four spacious bedrooms on the second –s. The home’s interior is simple and minimalist, dominated by white and contrasting stripes in the decor.
7. A bookstore with a gothic feel

Perhaps turning an ancient church into a modern home won’t be approved by everyone. But some architects dared to do it. The stunning cathedral interiors were the inspiration for the large bookstore interior. Selexyz Dominicanen In Maastricht, the Netherlands, a Merkx+Girod Architecten, and the majestic Gothic church has been given new life.
The temple’s tall walls are apparently perfect for the 25,000 books in the new store, and the amazing interiors can be awe-inspiring. A cross-shaped table in the reading room and striking lighting complete the interior.

This beautiful and cozy apartment occupies 86 m2 first floor in an old building that was once a famous a straw hat factory Stockholm. The building, built in 1887, has been transformed by the designer Oscar Properties into a residential complex with 39 new apartments.
This unusual home has its own private patio with plenty of greenery. The interior combines a sporty drive with a touch of retro and Scandinavian style. Flecks of bright colors – red, navy blue, green – add a cheerful elegance to every room.

The last stop on our journey – beautiful Tower Suite In Firenze, Italy, who transforms a Renaissance watchtower into a luxurious modern apartment. Despite the fact that its area is only 65 m2, interior style surprisingly expands the space.
Offering a bird’s-eye view of Florence’s historic district, the designers left the appearance of the ancient tower unchanged. A creative approach to the layout and original space-saving solutions allows to fully use the space of the apartment. Dark wood floors, expressive supporting structures and elegant decor create a relaxing atmosphere. Designed by Luigi Fragola Architects, this project brings the spirit of tuscany to perfection!
