Dear friends, the members of our terrific forum, today I would like to present you one of the most unique projects, developed in 2007 by Casey Brown Architecture. This amazing modern cabin, built in western New South Wales, Australia. This seemingly tiny structure can, in fact, give protection and shelter to two occupants and provide them with the amenities they need. Plus, its very good location allows guests to admire the vast natural landscape.
This manipulation had to be done because of the remoteness of the site from the city. As for the structure, it consists of two levels. On the first floor, the facades have the ability to rise upward, thereby opening up views from the interior to all four sides of the world. In the case when the hut is empty and the dwelling remains closed, the lowered facades and the latest security system act as a means of protecting the house from emergencies, burglary, flooding, short-circuits or simply bad weather, strong winds, bright sunlight and fires often occurring in those places.
What inspired the architects at Casey Brown Architecture to design such an exceptional and extraordinary house in South Wales, Australia?
