On the top floor thereโs a spacious terrace lined with limestone slabs, where you can best watch the sunset.
From the hallway, you can move in two directions: left, into the gallery, or right, into the pool pavilion. From this angle you can also see the stairs leading to the lower level.
This is a gallery to look at before heading to the pavilion with the pool. Teak floors, plastered walls and a timber ceiling form a tranquil atmosphere with artwork and ebony plaques.
The windows look like framed landscapes, making the space seem deeper and more dynamic.
Itโs time to visit the pavilion that houses the indoor pool. This is what it looks like when viewed from the hallway. The pavilion is completely open in relation to the hall, so the glass door at the gallery entrance was necessary to protect the paintings from moisture.
From a bit farther away you can see the stairs leading to the gym and the gallery space behind the windows on the right. Sliding doors across from the pool rail give access to the rock garden.
The poolโs linear configuration is emphasised by recessed overhead lighting. The dressing room, kitchenette, and Japanese steam room are behind the plastered wall on the right. The area around the pool is partly lined with limestone slabs and partly with moisture-resistant teak wood planks.
The path to the steam room is through an area with a rain shower and teak wood drainage grate.
A concise staircase leading to the gym.
The western edge of the pavilion protrudes toward the lake, but the structure itself blends in well with the landscape, thanks to the panoramic glazing and moss-lined roof.
This project incorporates the best of the Japanese style: integration into the natural context, balance and restraint in the use of expressive means. The designer was able to maximize the benefits of the location and turn the house into a peaceful abode that symbolizes the aesthetic representation of healthy living.
This sounds intriguing! How does the original interior design of the Japanese-style country house complement the integrated spa complex? Can you describe any specific elements or features that make it a unique and immersive experience for visitors?
