The property is located on a 42-hectare plot of rugged terrain in one of the interior valleys of the California coast near Nicasio, USA. An interesting project by American specialists evokes a double impression. The overly allegorical concept is not immediately clear – the name “Hook| Cup| Bow| Pivot” (literal translation, Eng.) is instantly confusing.
The building is conceived as a reflection of the latent potential energy of the landscape. It shows nature’s natural inclination to change and improve itself. The intention of the authors is to expand on the notion of “stable architecture”, explaining the intricate relationship between landscape, ecosystems and human activity.
