Interior design for a dining room by FMD Architects

The goal was to create a new living and dining area, relocate the existing kitchen and bath, and improve access to natural light in the main guest and bedroom areas. The existing Victorian-style east wing of the house contains two bedrooms and was simply renovated. The client’s functional requirements were simple. His one and only request was to find space in the design for the three tapestries his mother had made.
