The Two Barns modern country house in conceptual rustic style

This newly renovated, modernized country house, dubbed 'The Two Barns' is a majestic rustic getaway equipped with a range of amenities to bolster the appeal of this both cozy and grand residence. This rustic barn concept combines traditional aesthetics with a renovated interior, allowing guests to bask in the warmth of classic country charm while experiencing all the luxuries of the modern world. Benefiting from spacious bedrooms and en-suites, a large kitchen, an in-house pool and an outdoor terrace perfect for enjoying the surrounding countryside view, The Two Barns is the quintessential picturesque getaway.

In the world of modern design and architecture, pitched roof construction is very often seen as a thing of the past. Nevertheless, the ingenious architects from the design studio RSPlus have combined this classic roof structure with a modern attractive interior to form a truly fascinating and stylish residence in Poland. The creative masterpiece has been dubbed as the “house of two barns,” and it’s no surprise. The fabulous accommodation catches everyone’s attention in moments with its unique silhouette, original ideas in the interior and spectacular street frontage. Combining a pair of tall architectural structures in the form of barns with a glass pavilion is a beautiful house, which combines in its silhouette a mixture of modern and traditional.

While one of the barns has access to the street and includes social areas and public spaces, the rest of the space is carefully hidden behind it to keep the sleeping quarters and private areas away from prying eyes. Elegantly placed wooden slats allow plenty of natural light to enter through the filter, while ensuring that the house is not completely open to the street. The lower level of the first structure contains a living area, dining space and an open-plan kitchen. Warm wood surfaces, trendy Tom Dixon pendant lights and large sliding glass doors give the house an abundance of textural contrast. Notice how bright and casual these two colorful structures look together, decorated in a contrasting hue palette.

However, I’m curious about the interior layout of this modern-country home. Does it have an open floor plan, or are the spaces more compartmentalized? Additionally, are there any unique features or specific design elements that set it apart from other similar houses?

It exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere with the use of natural materials like wood and stone. As for the interior layout, it greatly depends on the specific design. One standout feature is its blend of materials – the combination of sleek, contemporary finishes with natural, weathered textures adds character and charm.
