Home in Goes: an example of sustainable design

Residence facade

The design of this cottage is in the spirit of traditional Dutch "long houses", very common in this part of the country. However, the historical style can be traced only in the general outlines of Home in Goes, while its obviously modern nature is dictated by the choice of materials and the way they are combined with each other.

The elongated structure and the simple gable roof of this one-story residence pay tribute to the traditional culture of the area. However, its design as a whole, based on a combination of concrete, steel and glass, is the embodiment of the most advanced trends of modern architecture.
