This unusual, intriguing composition was presented in 2010 by the designers at the St Etienne Design Biennal.

The staging consisted of everyday items that make up a rhythmic scene. They should inspire observers to rethink forms as well as attitudes towards everyday objects.

According to the authors of the project, this arrangement, and even at a distance from the audience will help to appreciate and look closely at the usual everyday things around.

Hypertrophied table lamp, Chandeliers hung at different levels in a chaotic manner, a table with openwork legs, a roughly made daybed and a desk act as actors in this composition. After all, the name of the project Quatrieme Mur translates as the Fourth Wall (when the actors address the audience from the stage, allowing them to dive deeper into the world of action).
Can they break the imaginary obstacle and make you believe that everything that happens on stage is real, to engage in the game, to choose between mass and fragility, volume and airiness?
We would certainly like to know what thoughts, feelings and reflections these commonplace objects provoked in the visitors to this popular forum.
