Ideal headphones are those that sit comfortably and sound good. Still not bad if cheap. For amateurs, not DJs, “good” = “loud”. It really matters, but the overpriced bass that hits your ears will only spoil your listening pleasure. Volume should go hand in hand with quality.
How to choose a loud earphone for your phone
Headphone models are divided into 3 types: standard “droplets” (or “tablets”), vacuum earbuds (or “gags”) and large overheads. The latter two types are more popular than the first one, they can belong to different classes, therefore, it is difficult to understand whether it has high-quality sound from the one form of the headset.
Sensitivity is responsible for the volume in the headphones. In good models, it is at least 100 dB. However, other factors influence how loudly the music will sound:
- The location of the product membrane. Proximity to the ear can boast of vacuum “gags”, but they also give the greatest load on a person’s hearing aid. Well laid on models which are correctly picked up under the form of the head adjoin well. “Pills” do not sit well and distribute part of the sound to others.
- The diameter of the membrane. The larger it is, the better, but for the “plugs”, given that they are inserted directly into the ear, the maximum value is 12 mm. In large studio models, the membrane can reach 70 mm.
- Frequency range. From 20 to 20,000 Hz and higher is considered excellent, but not everyone accepts this indicator. People aged 30 years catch a range of up to 18,000, so there is no point in overpaying.
- Headset class. It determines not only the volume, but also the quality – detail – of the sound. Headphones for the phone with good bass, but without midtones, provide hearing impairment instead of the pleasure of music. Ideally, for high-quality sound, you need to take powerful studio and hi-fi models, but for amateur music lovers full-size invoices with high technical characteristics are also suitable.
- Headphone compatibility with the technology on which the music is turned on. It makes no sense to buy a hi-fi class headset for an inexpensive mobile phone. Such models have a high indicator of resistance (impedance) and they require a powerful sound source. It is better to buy a product that is balanced in cost and quality, rather than looking for the loudest headphones for your phone. Medium impedance for portable equipment 16–40 Ohm.
The loudest headphones
In 2019, manufacturers focus on portability and comfort, but volume remains a decisive factor in choosing a headset. The best bass headphones are presented in the tables below..

The presence of a microphone adds new specifications to the standard list. It is important that the sound is not only loudly reproduced, but also recorded. The most suitable models:
